Kemal Forrester, began her fashion career in retail as a Sales Associate for Filene’s Basement & Macy’s, two major US department stores. She would later take an opportunity to work for the more moderate mainstream fashion brand, Old Navy, a subsidiary of Gap Inc. Ms. Forrester officially entered the creative sector of the fashion world as a Design Assistant at Tiger J, a mid-sized independent fashion company specializing in private labels & celebrity clothing lines for QVC & HSN. After her apprenticeship, she accepted a position as a Fashion Assistant at Brooks Brothers working with Women’s, Men’s & Children’s apparel in the areas of Product Development as well as Production. It wasn't long before LANVIN came knocking and Kemal responded to this golden opportunity to work for the French luxury brand as a Stylist/Dresser for Market Week. She continued to follow the path of Product Development with other notable brands, including Coach, managing her own handbag series as well as completing special projects for Coach 1941, Coach 75th Anniversary & Coach Enamel Stud campaign. Following her position at Coach, Kemal went on to work with Men’s luxury accessories in the area of Sourcing & Merchandising as well as Diane Von Furstenberg in Shipping & Logistics. As a result, she Forrester is well-versed in fashion business knowledge, which inspired her to launch her consulting agency in New York City. In addition, Ms. Forrester provides mentoring to aspiring fashion talent pursuing careers in the industry.

Kemal Forrester is a former Fashion Design major at Parsons The New School of Design & an Alumnae of The Fashion Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in International Trade & Marketing for the Fashion Industries with a double Minor in Latin American Studies & French.
