With the cold weather finally upon us along with the threat of a blizzard in the North East, it seemed organic to reference a term related to winter wear.
So fitting in with the occasion, today's term is Parka, also known as an Anorak. First, lets talk about what it is and what is its significance. Yes, a parka is a coat, but not just any type of coat. Real fur or faux, this coat has insulation, a hood and is wind proof to keep those chills at bay!
Depending on your location, I am sure you know that makes one heck of a difference in these Arctic temperatures. People aren't just wearing those "Canada Goose" for show!
They come in a variety of styles and are definitely a must have for the cold weather.
Usually insulated with a waterproof coating, the reason it is ideal for hitting the slopes.
Functional and TOTALLY chic! What do you think?
