Last month, we talked about Audrey Hepburn, but not all style icons are women. So, this month, I wanted to share with you this handsome gentleman posted above, Mr. Alain Delon. You have probably never heard of him before, unless you watch french films. He did try to break into Hollywood movies. However, his lack of English skills made it challenging. Nonetheless, he is known as the James Dean of french flicks, but taller and better looking. His style is classic with an androgynous touch.
Let's review some of his timeless ensembles:
It doesn't get more timeless than jeans and a t-shirt.
A checkered button down with jeans and brown boots. Simple yet cool.
That shearling jacket is everything!
THE DARK SUIT
Mr. Delon was a trendsetter in his day with tailored suits and stylish sunglasses making the most feminine looks androgynous.
Dior in recent years has used his likeness for its aftershave campaign.
The photos were taken from his film in 1966, Les Aventuriers the same year that the fragrance originally launched.
